Our PE day is a Tuesday. We expect all pupils to arrive in school on this day wearing appropriate clothing and trainers.
Homework
Times Tables:
Year 4 is a very important year for times tables. We are expecting children to practise on Times Table Rock Stars.
There will be regular battles between Rauf, Farook and Blackman class throughout the year!
Spellings:
Spellings will be posted on Class Dojo weekly. Please practise these at home. Have a go at looking at the word, say the word, cover it, write it and then check it. Why don't you set a timer for 45 seconds and see how many times you can write the word? Can you beat your record?
Reading Plus:
We are now using the Reading Plus program to help your child become a better reader. Through regular Reading Plus practice, reading will become easier, comprehension will increase and your child will make meaningful connections between reading and learning. Reading Plus is used within school, but we strongly encourage you to access this at home. Your class teacher will be able to track what you have completed in the week, both in school and at home.
