September 2026 - Return to school date change - IMPORTANT

Due to the significant building works currently taking place at the school, including the installation of new pipes and a new heating system, we require additional time to ensure that all works are completed safely and that the school is fully prepared for the return of pupils.

As a result, pupils will now return to school on Monday 7th and NOT Thursday 3rd September.

Whilst we appreciate that this change may cause some inconvenience, the safety and wellbeing of our pupils and staff must remain our highest priority. The additional time will allow staff to prepare classrooms and learning spaces, and ensure that the school environment is safe, welcoming, and ready for learning.

To minimise the impact on pupils' learning, the two additional INSET days required at the
start of the academic year have been taken from the existing term dates.

As a result:
• Pupils will now finish the autumn term on Friday 18th December instead of Thursday 17th December.
• The INSET day scheduled for Friday 28th May has been removed, meaning pupils will attend school on that day.
