RED WEATHER WARNING

                                                              RED WEATHER WARNING

We are writing to inform you that a Red Weather Warning for extreme heat has been issued, beginning on Wednesday morning (24th June) through to Thursday evening (25th June).

Following careful consideration and in line with Health & Safety guidance, the school has decided that the school will be fully closed to all pupils on both Wednesday 24th and Thursday 25th June.

This decision has been made to protect the wellbeing of our pupils and staff.  Prolonged exposure to very high temperatures can pose serious health risks, including;

Dehydration

Heat exhaustion and heatstroke

Increased fatigue and reduced concentration

Sunburn and other heat-related illnesses
