Residential trip

This year, the children have the fantastic opportunity to attend a highly sought‑after Residential at Portland Outdoor Learning Centre. The adventures ahead are truly exciting, with pupils set to experience activities designed to challenge, inspire and build independence.

The residential will take place from:

📅 18th May 2026 – 21st May 2026

During their stay, children will take part in a range of unforgettable activities. According to the Portland Outdoor Centre, pupils will have the chance to experience coasteering, where they scramble, swim, wade and jump along the Jurassic Coast, exploring sea caves, kelp forests, and incredible marine wildlife. Partner providers in the local area also offer stand‑up paddle boarding, giving pupils the chance to glide across Portland Harbour and enjoy the stunning coastal scenery from the water. These activities promote teamwork, resilience, confidence and a huge sense of achievement. From exploring rocky coastlines to paddling across sheltered waters, the residential promises to be a highlight of the school year.

Cost of the Trip

• £250 per child
• £125 for children in receipt of FSM

All information will be sent out via School Spider, and all payments must be made through ParentPay, as we are a cashless school.
