What is the impact of farming on the environment?

We have been looking heavily into the decisions we make, from where we shop, the brand of food we buy and the choice of what we actually eat. The choices we make can be for our health, or for ethical or environmental reasons too. The chidlren have enjoyed the debates this has brought up along with exploring how most of the methane in our atmosphere is just cow farts and burps!
